MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN CANCER UK-SALONE AND CARITAS FREETOWN

CANCER UK-SALONE and CARITAS FREETOWN will collaborate to provide support in strengthening governance and leadership on cancer prevention, diagnostics, support care and treatment Advocate for improved surveillance on non-communicable especially cancer, raise awareness of cancer to empower the public, educate health workers to recognize early signs and symptoms of cancer.
Signpost, give psychosocial support and provide community capacity building and sensitisation around cancer in Western Area communities.
Capacity build in cancer to healthcare workers, lifestyle changes in schools and institutions to reduce their risks and support to finance diagnostics, treatment, palliative care and nutrition for the underprivileged and vulnerable population especially women and children.
